Try-Before-You-Buy - May 12th

When: Saturday May 12th, 2007 - 1:00 to 5:00 pm

Where: Queen City Lampworks in Manchester NH

Who: Inspiration Toolworks LLC, Zooziis, and GG Glass will have tools, presses and glass for you to try-before-you-buy. Everyone is invited! Please note, torching is limited to those with training and experience. Please bring your filtered safety glasses.

What: Try-before-you-buy. Get a chance to torch with tools from Inspiration Toolworks and Zooziis, and glass from GG Glass. See what you like, and then buy it on the spot! Fiber blankets will be available for cooling your work so you can take samples home with you for kiln annealing later.

Directions:

From Rt 93: Take 293 south, take exit 6, follow ramp around to the right, bare right and cross over the bridge, bare right again onto Canal st. Follow Canal st. until you cross over Granite st., make the first left after the Granite st. intersection at the yellow flashing light onto Depot st.

From Rt 3: Take 293 north, take exit 5 Granite St./ downtown. Turn right onto Granite st. cross over the bridge, at second light after bridge turn right onto Canal st. Take first left at yellow flashing light onto Depot st.

Once on Depot St: Park on the street in the first open spot you find as it is a short street. Look for the "Bull Graphics" sign on the building on the right hand side and then follow the signs to Queen City Lampworks. Parking is free on week ends.

Please note, a couple of nice dogs are often in the studio. While they will be kept out of our area for this event, if you are allergic to dogs you should medicate accordingly.
