Cleaning bead holes is a pain, but it's something beadmakers have to do. This bit makes it much easier. It is a 1" long diamond coated shaft, with a small taper on the nose, and a flared skirt near the base. The skirt can dull any "pointies" that you may have near the bead hole.
The most important part is the long, straight diamond shaft. Becuase the entire length is coated with diamond, you can clean faster. Becuase the shaft is not tapered, your bead won't suddenly start spinning in your hand. And because the tip is blunt, you won't poke a hole in your hand if you slip.
Please note, even though diamond is really hard, it will wear out over time. Remember, use water for lubricant and dust control, don't wear gloves or rings, and only use cordless tools!
Specifications: 1.25" section straight diamond coated shaft, 2" long overall. 1/8" diameter shank.
