Melt Your Heart ^TM Mandrel

I've been working on this idea since before I started Inspiration Toolworks. I'm very happy and proud to finally have it ready for all you lampworkers out there. Use your heart as a pendant or toggle, and this mandrel will Melt Your Heart TM, and your customers hearts! Check out the gallery for pictures of what customers have made. The heart is formed around the heart shaped tube. The 1/8" diameter handle is bent so that the heart stays close to the center of rotation as you spin the mandrel. When your heart is done annealing and cooled, just pull it off the mandrel. I love the "pink twisty" hearts that Corina has in her book. I feel compelled to make these hearts out of pink and red twisted cane. Specifications: Made of stainless steel. The hearts are 3/4" tall and 3/4" across. 1/8" diameter handle, 11" long overall. The heart shaped portion is 1" long, allowing you to make your heart that deep. Or, you can make two hearts on one mandrel. Please note, as these are made by hand, there is some natural variation in exact shape and dimension from tool to tool.
