Virgin Teflon Strips

The second half of great Dobsonian bearings is virgin Teflon. These are strips of Teflon that are easy to cut up and use for bearings on small scopes. I used 1/2" wide strips of Teflon on my 6" 4.5 truss Dobsonian. which has 7.5" diameter altitude bearings and 7" diameter azimuth bearings. Specifications: These strips are 1/2" wide, 3/16" thick, and 8" long. This gives you enough for one telescope plus a couple of "oopses". The back is etched, so you can use epoxy. Personally, I use flat head screws.
