Ebony Star Formica Sheets - Directions

Safety First:

• The edges of Ebony Star Formica can be SHARP! BE CAREFUL!
• If you user power tools, always read the directions.
• Use dust collection. Dust is bad for your lungs.
• When using sharp hand tools, always apply pressure away from your body. Don't cut towards yourself!
• Wear safety glasses. Formica is especially prone to shattering.

• Apply contact cement to both the sheet and the botton of the rocker box according to the cement directions.
• I've heard of some people using Gorilla Glue instead, but haven't tried it myself.
• Apply carefully. Be sure to leave extra all around.
• After it has had a few minutes to set, trim the edges.
• You can also trim it flush with the sides of the box with a utility knife or a flush cut router bit. Remember to cut away from your body, arms and hands.
• REMEMBER to ease the edges with sandpaper. Formica edges can be razor sharp.
